U6 General Information

Dear Families,

For those of you new to the NASA U6 program - welcome.  For those who are returning - welcome back.

We are in need of additional coaches both Head and Asst. If you are willing to coach please send me an email.

Below is some information regarding the upcoming season.

Practice/Game Sessions and Cancellations

All sessions will be held on the Lucent Fields (Rte. 125) on Saturdays at either 9 or 10:30 AM.  Sessions will be 1 hour in length and consist of 30 – 40 minutes of fun drill/games followed by a scrimmage.

To the extent that practices or games are cancelled due to weather, NASA will send out an email blast.  If weather problems begin during a practice or game, the coaches will then be in charge of continuing or cancelling play.

Equipment and Uniforms

Recommended equipment includes:

·        #3 Soccer Ball

·        Red/White Reversible NASA in-town Jersey or Red T-shirt

·        Black Soccer Shorts

·        Black or Red Soccer Socks

·        Shin Guards (Mandatory)

·        Water (Recommended)

·        Soccer Cleats (Optional)

Information regarding uniforms is on the website under the equipment section.  They can be purchased directly through the NASA on-line store from Athletic Enterprises.  http://www.athleticenterprises.net/north-andover-soccer-association.html

Team/Time Requests

Based on the spring season I expect 300 kids for U6 alone and have received a tremendous amount of requests for teams, coaches, times and/or to play with other children.  I will try my best to accommodate but please understand it might not be possible to meet all preferences.  Please keep this in mind when you receive your child's team assignment and schedule.

Feedback

Your feedback is always welcome. We are always looking for ways to improve the program, so please feel free to email me with both positive and/or constructive feedback at any point in the season.

If you have any additional questions please email me U6DIRECTOR@NASOCCER.COM

I am looking forward to a great season and seeing you all on the field.
